Episode 50 Of The Chronicle! Spinal Tap 2 & The Long Walk

A group of boys walk a long road in the middle of nowhere .

Happy Anniversary The Chronicle Film Podcast! We’ve finally reached 50 episodes, and for this episode myself and Sean Wilson reviewed  Spinal Tap II: The End Continues and The Long Walk.

This is Spinal Tap was considered the original mockumentary, now 40plus years on can they still deliver with Spinal Tap II: The End Continues. ? The boys are back for one final fling with the volume still turned up to 11. Nigel Tufnel, David St. Hubbins, and Derek Smalls, reunite for one contractual reunion gig. Will the magic still be there?

Stephen King originally wrote under the name Richard Bachman and one of those books was  The Long Walk. This a dystopian horror thriller directed by Francis Lawrence (The Hunger Games) and written by JT Mollner (Strange Darling). We follow a group of young men ‘volunteer’ for a long walk with no stopping. They must walk at least 3 miles per hour, if they don’t they get a warning, get 3 they are eliminated. Chilling story that stars Copper Hoffman, David Jonsson and Mark Hamill.
