Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver – Movie Review and Analysis | The Chronicle Episode 030

Listen to my review of Challengers

If it’s movies you like, you are in the right place. The Chronicle, episode 030 has now arrived. Paul and Clotilde review two films, Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver and Challengers.

First up is Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver. Part one was epic in scale, but an epic failure in what mattered. For Part 2: The Scargiver, the surviving rebels head to Veldt. Sofia Boutella is back as Kora, who now leads her ragtag bunch of warriors defending the moon Vedt against the Imperium. She does have one thing standing inher way, Atticus Noble (Ed Skrein), who has returned from the grave. Was the damage done in part one, or will you give part two a go?

Our final film is Luca Guadagnino‘s Challengers, starring Zendaya, Josh O’Connor, and Mike Faist. The Dune star stars as Tashi Donaldson, a one-time tennis prodigy whose promising career ended prematurely. She would become the coach of her now-husband Art (Faist), a superstar going through acrisis. To boost his reputation, Art enters a local tournament, onlyto come up against Tashi’s former boyfriend, Patrick (O’Connor).
