First up myself and Ibrahim chat about David Robert Mitchell‘s fantasy adventure The End Of Oak Street. The film stars Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor as parents Denise and Gregg who have 2 children. What starts as happy American suburbia family drama fast turns into a fight for survival when Dinosaurs appear on the street.
Just when we thought it was all over Rosie jumps onboard and chats about a couple of small indie films released this week. First up is Matt Johnson‘s Tony, a biopic of sorts for Chef- Travel journalist Anthony Bourdain. The film stars Dominic Sessa as a young Bourdain and following him in what would become his most important year in food. Leo Woodall, Emilia Jones and Antonio Banderas also star.
Finally Sunny Dancer starring Bella Ramsay (The Last Of Us), Ruby Stokes, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Neil Patrick Harris and James Norton. The film follows a Ivy, a girl who has battle cancer and goes on a ‘chemo retreat’ to bond with young people in similar place. Does George Jacques film handle things with care?
