Hello everyone your favourite neighbourhood Spider-Man is back on out screens with Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Fellow Chroniclers below is my review on The Chronicle Film Podcast Episode 65.

Joining me for this new episode is Rosie and Danny in his debut podcast episode. With Marvel Cinematic Universe going through a stagnant period, could everyone’s favourite webslinger get everything on the right track? Going by the early box office figures globally it’s looking good, however as we’ve seen before in film that doesn’t mean to say the film is good.
Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned. They are joined by Jon Bernthal (a mini The Odyssey reunion), Sadie Sink, Mark Ruffalo, Tramell Tillman and Florence Pugh. Spider-Man: Brand New Day takes place a few years after No Way Home. The world may have have forgotten Peter Parker but Peter has forgotten about them. He’s now a full time crime fighter and a change puts himself and those he loves in danger.
Will this be a forgettable film to you or reinvigorate your interest in comic book/superhero films? We’ll chat about that, discuss the characters, Damage Control, most of all if this film is any good.
