Episode 2: The Chronicle Podcast Listen Now

Michelle Yeoh in Magnificent Warriors out now on Blu-ray from Eureka Entertainment

It’s finally here Episode 2 of The Chronicle, the official Podcast of Chronicles In Film. For this week’s episode we have 2 classics from Asian Cinema from Eureka Entertainment.

First up is Hong Kong action comedy Magnificent Warriors (1987). Starring a young Michelle Yeoh as a secret agent during the Sino-Japanese war. A film which has a big Indiana Jones inspiration!

Second review is the baroque Hideo Gosha‘s Yakuza thriller Violent Streets (1974). Starring Noburo Ando a former Yakuza member turned bar owner whose bar is the centre of a clan turf war. Will he return to his old life?

Both films available now at Eureka Entertainment online store!

*My apologies for the delay to this episode it was due to techincal issues beyond my control at The Peoples Movies.
