Finally welcome to The Chronicle Episode 11, the official film podcast for The Peoples Movies. Apologies for the delay in posting this podcast and the jury is out! After a week with no main cinema releases we have Barbieheimer better known as Barbie and Oppenheimer.
First up is the epic film based on the destroyers of worlds, Christopher Nolan’s drama, Oppenheimer. Cillian Murphy is J.Robert Oppenheimer, the man who would create the nuclear bomb under the guise of the Manhattan Project. This film is a character study looking at the life of Oppy as he was known by his friends, but will the film be explosive?

The final review will be Great Gerwig‘s absurd fantasy comedy Barbie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. Everything looks perfect in Barbieland, but when stereotypical Barbie (Robbie) has a existential crisis, she must head to the real world to mend things!
