Welcome to The Chronicle Film Podcast Episode 41! Clotilde and Paul preview 2025 EE BAFTAs aka the 78th British Academy Film Awards, the British Oscars. Like  last years episode  we cover the 97th Academy Awards aka The Oscars.

The Awards season has been with us for a couple of months. Now we’re at the business end of the season. The premiere award ceremonies take place promising a celebration of all things films. Recognition of those in front of camera, the filmmakers  and those behind the camera who we never hear about.

First up will be the EE Baftas on 16th February taking place in central London. Then on 2nd March (3rd in the UK & Ireland), it’s the big one. The 97th Academy Awards will take place in Hollywood, LA.
