Revenge gets ripped apart in the bonus episode. This is called The Chronicle Take 2. It is for The Chronicle official podcast for The Peoples Movies. As promised, Love Lies Bleeding from Rose Glass.
Thank you very much to everyone who has listened to Episode 30, which was released earlier today. Myself and Clotilde Chinnici reviewed Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver and Challengers. You can listen to that episode by clicking on the link below if you are on The Peoples Movies. Alternatively, listen via the podcast site you are using for this new episode.
We have experienced the icy cold unholy terror of Saint Maud. This was the debut film by Rose Glass. Now, we step back into 1980’s New Mexico, USA. Kristen Stewart plays Lou, a gym manager. She leads a mundane life. Everything changes when Jacky (Katy O’Brian) walks into the gym. Sparks fly, and a full romance blossoms. Still, Lou has a dark past. It catches up with her at the wrong times. Her father, Lou Sr (Ed Harris), just happens to be the local crime lord and Jacky’s employer.
